     Dr. Szaniszlo teaches two undergraduate courses within the School of Biological Sciences during alternating semesters.  Each spring, either Bio341 Biology of Fungi or Bio329 Medical Mycology is offered along with their accompanying lab sections, Bio 141L Biology of Fungi Laboratory and Bio 129L Medical Mycology Laboratory.

Here, you'll find bulletins, syllabi, lecture notes, and old tests on file  for Dr. Szaniszlo's courses.  They are meant to supplement and enhance the learning experience of those students taking his courses as well as provide information and insight to those individuals interested in the field of mycology.

Biology of Fungi (BIO 341) is an introduction and study of the general features of most fungi with emphasis on fungal classification, nutrition, metabolism, and genetics

Medical Mycology (BIO 329) focuses on the yeasts, molds, and mycoses most likely to be encountered in clinical settings, and covers basic introduction to fungi..
