In flower and fruit near Salta, Argentina in December 2001. Relative size and habit. More or less decumbent, to about 30 cm tall.

Habitat near Salta, a grazed grassy opening on hillside in spinescent shrubland. Habitat in Córdoba, grassy roadside in a recently burned spinescent shrubland.
