Research Snapshot Dr. Salmi is investigating the genetic basis of gravity perception and response in a single cell using microarray analysis and knockout studies. History with the Roux lab Much like the other senior members of the lab, Dr. Salmi joined the lab as an undergraduate. Coming from Louisiana to UT in 1994, Mari started with the Roux lab in the summer of 1996. She completed her undergraduate degree in 1998 and after a year doing benchwork outside the lab she returned to get her Ph.D. under Dr. Roux in 2005. She is currently with us as a post doc. |
