Research Snapshot Ms. Kays is investigating the role of specific post-translational modifications in phytochrome-mediated signaling, with a focus on apyrase's role in modulating these signals. History with the Roux lab Julia stayed in the state of Illinois to get her undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. After getting her B.S. in Plant Biology she came to the University of Texas at Austin in August of 2003 under the Plant Biology program. Julia has been working towards her Ph.D. with us since September of 2004. |
