Research Snapshot Dr. Reichler seeks to understand how extracellular ATP effects pollen and the possible role apyrases may play. History with the Roux lab Stuart has been associated with the lab since he was an undergraduate sophomore in the Fall of 1988. After getting his B.A. in 1991 and working for a year in industry, he returned to the Roux lab to pursue his Ph.D. in the Department of Botany. He held a post-doctoral research position here followed by one in Mexico at the Instituto de Biotecnologia, Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico (UNAM), finally returning back to us at UT and the Roux lab in 2001. He is currently a post-doctoral researcher in the lab and a lecturer in biology for the University. |
