Students will carry out two projects, each consisting of a set of related experiments, and then write a short paper emphasizing the scholarly presentation of scientific data and its interpretation. Class meetings are once a week for three hours, with the laboratory available at other times for additional work as required by individuals.

I am present throughout each laboratory meeting to provide an introductory lecture, and to assist and advise students in their work. In keeping with the goal of the course, enrollment is limited.
