LAB Exercise #3
The Information Network
We will familiarize ourselves with the information resources
available to us on the University of Texas campus, through the UT library system
and the World Wide Web. First we will perform searches in the on-line
catalog of the UT Libraries. Next, we will learn how to search various
databases for topics in ecology and natural history, save our results and view
articles on-line. We will then compare these resources and databases to
equivalent searches on the WWW.
