REVISED FINAL GRADE CURVING

Here is the revised curve for your final grades.  It takes into consideration the class scores in the last exam. To figure out your grade, check out the total number of points you got on e-grade book (add them up).  Your final grade will be officially submitted to the Office of the Registrar towards the end of next week:

total score above 413 (>86.9%): A Grade
total score between 362 and 412 (76.2 and 86.7%): B Grade
total score between 315 and 361 (66.3 and 76%): C Grade
total score below 314 (<66.1%): D Grade
if you absolutely bombed all exams and quizzes, i.e. ~260 and below (<56%): F Grade

- You can check out the keys to the final exams here

- Have a great summer!! I enjoyed teaching this course to you.  Hope you also enjoyed taking it.

FINAL GRADE CURVING

Be aware that the following numbers may change depending on your scores on the final exam.  They are meant to help you figure out how much work you should assign into the final exam to try to get the grade you want.  You should try to score several points higher than the borderlines of your desired grade to avoid getting burnt by any changes that will happen on the following curve once I get all the scores added.  I am interested on keeping the class percentages assigned to each letter grade when assigning final grades (e.g. 25% of class gets an "A", etc. ; see following percentages).  Hence, the grade ranges could fluctuate 2-3 points above or below the borderlines presented below once your final exam grades are added to your score.  To get your percentile just add all your total points from e-gradebook and add how much you expect getting on the final exam then divide this by 475:

    - You will be able to earn an "A" if your final grade is ~ 87.5% or above (This encompass at least 25% of the class based on your scores up to 04/30)

    - You will earn a "B" if your final grade is between ~ 76% - 87.4% (This encompasses 50% of all the class based on your scores up to 04/30)

    -  You will earn a "C" if your final grade is between ~ 66%-75.9% (This encompasses ~ 15% of the class)

    - You will earn a "D" if your final grade is below ~ 66% (This encompasses ~ 5% of the class)

    - You will earn an "F" if your grade is below 60% (This encompasses less than 5% of the class)
