A Detailed Description of Genes and DNA Dynamics

Read the article in Nature about the DNA sequence structure of the human X-Chromosome Centromere. Then on the right-hand side of the article there are references to related materials. Read as many of these as you find interesting, but especially read the one on DNA structure, replication, and other comparisons between prokaryotic and eukaryotic processes involving the DNA. The reference on Chromomsome Structure (see image below, green arrow) is especially recommended, although it is more detailed than is needed for this course.
